Collection: Whole House Filtration

Whole-house water filtration protects every tap, shower and appliance in your home.

These systems and replacement cartridges are designed for New Zealand town-water and tank-water applications. The right setup can reduce sediment, improve taste and odour, and—when the correct carbon stage is used—reduce chlorine throughout the home.

Choosing the right filtration stages

  • 50 micron: coarse sediment protection for heavier particles and higher-flow first-stage filtration
  • 20 micron: general sediment reduction and a useful second stage after a coarser cartridge
  • 5 micron: finer sediment filtration where clearer water is required
  • Carbon filtration: used to reduce chlorine, unpleasant taste and odour

Town water

For chlorinated council water, a sediment stage followed by an appropriately sized carbon stage is commonly used to improve taste, odour and shower-water quality.

Tank water

Tank-water treatment depends on sediment load, colour, odour and microbiological risk. Sediment filtration is normally selected first; UV disinfection or additional treatment may also be required.
